Education and Experience
Zo Lian Bawi serves as a Legal Assistant at Tyson Law Firm, P.C., where he supports the case management team with discovery coordination, hearing preparation, and client engagement. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, with minors in History and Criminal Justice. During his undergraduate studies, Zo completed an advocacy internship with the Burma Research Institute, where he helped prepare policy briefs and supported meetings with government officials and congressional staff concerning international religious freedom issues. He has also volunteered in educational and community leadership roles, including teaching English to students in Myanmar and serving in youth ministry initiatives. Zo intends to pursue a law degree in the future and is committed to developing the skills and discipline necessary for a career in legal advocacy.
